Our Academics

Old Dominion University offers 70 undergraduate degree programs, 60 Masters programs, and 36 doctoral programs; many of which are nationally recognized.

Flexible and customizable studies are also available, in addition to numerous minors.

Our Students

Nearly 22,000 students are enrolled at ODU, including 16,066 undergraduates. Students hail from all 50 states, along with over 1,100 international students from 108 countries.

Students have the opportunity to learn and work alongside Old Dominion University’s outstanding faculty. With a student to faculty ratio of 17:1, ODU’s classrooms provide the optimal learning environment. Our faculty challenges and engages students, motivating them to think and perform at their best.

Our Campus

ODU is growing and changing fast. Several large projects are underway and many will start soon.

Some on-campus projects include an indoor tennis center, 3-story bookstore, the Innovation Research Park, Springhill Suites Hotel, and a completely renovated student recreation center.

Our Organizations/Activities

With over 200 student organizations and an active Greek system, there are plenty of opportunities to become involved at ODU.
